Former Five9, Dialpad, and Nextiva revenue executive joins to accelerate enterprise expansion as contact centers adopt hybrid human and AI workforce models
CORAL SPRINGS, FL, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Cisne, provider of AI-native workforce management for omni-channel and hybrid contact centers, today announced that Jim Nystrom has joined as Chief Revenue Officer. Nystrom will lead Cisne’s go-to-market, including enterprise sales, channel distribution, and revenue & growth strategy.
Nystrom previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Nextiva and Dialpad, and as Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Five9, where he helped scale the sales organization through their most aggressive growth phase. He first worked with Cisne’s co-founders, Chief Executive Officer Natalie Perez and President Lou Mandic, when their previous company was a Five9 reseller partner.
“Natalie and Lou were partners I trusted at Five9 because they understood contact center operations from the inside,” said Nystrom. “Legacy workforce management providers are trying to modernize by bolting generative AI onto architectures that were never built for it. Cisne is designed from the ground up for contact centers where AI agents and human teams now work multiple channels and share live workloads. Helping bring that to enterprise contact centers was an easy decision.”
“Jim has spent his career building revenue teams that deliver outcome-based solutions to contact center leaders, and those are the same leaders now figuring out how to plan for AI agents alongside their people,” said Perez. “They expect a vendor who understands their operation. Jim brings experience, an operational curiosity, a solutions mindset, and an outcome-based delivery methodology that will help us land and expand in the market. We know he’s the right person to lead our growth in the enterprise market.”
The appointment comes as contact centers and BPOs rapidly deploy autonomous voice and digital agents alongside human teams. While legacy workforce management systems rely on historical patterns and static shifts designed exclusively for human staff, Cisne allows a brand to organize a global hybrid workforce delivering consistently 24×7, while unifying capacity planning, dynamic handle times, and intraday scheduling across the entire hybrid workforce in order to help brands differentiate themselves based on convenience and service expected by today’s consumers.
