Jacobs will operate and maintain four wastewater treatment facilities with a combined treatment capacity of more than 110 million gallons per day, a regional pump station and associated solids management programs, including biosolids disposal and septage receiving services.

Jacobs Senior Vice President Alberto Lazaro said: “As one of the region’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas, Oklahoma City faces increasing demand on its wastewater infrastructure. By integrating operational insight, asset management and digital capabilities, we‘ll support reliable day-to-day performance, while helping OCWUT prioritize investment, strengthen regulatory compliance and manage its infrastructure for the long-term.”

Building on its long-standing relationship with OCWUT, Jacobs will implement enhanced maintenance practices and data-informed planning to improve operations and asset reliability while informing OCWUT’s capital improvement priorities.

OCWUT General Manager and Utilities Department Director Chris Browning added: “Jacobs has been a trusted partner to Oklahoma City Utilities for many years, and we look forward to continuing that relationship as we plan for the future of our wastewater system.”

Jacobs supports water utilities across the full asset lifecycle, including O&M services focused on the long-term performance of critical water infrastructure.
