Five organizations from the Las Cruces, New Mexico-El Paso, Texas, area received a combined $63,000 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas’ (FHLB Dallas) Partnership Grant Program (PGP), part of more than $1.8 million awarded across FHLB Dallas’ five-state region. The West Texas and New Mexico awards were celebrated today in El Paso, Texas, as FHLB Dallas marked the program’s 30th anniversary.
The grants were awarded in partnership with WestStar Bank, an FHLB Dallas member.
“The PGP is designed to multiply the impact of our members’ support, helping nonprofits achieve lasting results,” said Greg Hettrick, senior vice president and director of Community Investment at FHLB Dallas. “Together with our members, we’re building stronger communities and deepening our commitment to local partnerships.”
Under the program, FHLB Dallas member institutions contribute $500 to $5,000 to a nonprofit, and FHLB Dallas matches that contribution at a 5:1 ratio to provide up to $25,000 to the organization per member. See PGP for more information about the program and how funds may be used.
