KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Kansas City Life Insurance Company (the “Company”) announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Kellie S. Needham to the Board effective October 26, 2026, to fill an unexpired term.
Ms. Needham has worked as a manager for Hofmann Trucking, LLC, a national crude oil transportation company, since 2024. Her prior experience includes working for the Converse County School District from 2022 to 2024, as a 911 dispatcher for the Converse County Joint Communication Center from 2020 to 2021, and previously served as the Treasurer and Secretary of Bixby Ranch, LP. In addition, Ms. Needham serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Douglas Volunteer Fire Department and as the Finance Chair/Co-Chapter Chair of the Laramie Peak Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Ms. Needham is the daughter of Advisory Board Member Nancy Hudson and is the great-great granddaughter of J. B. Reynolds, whose family has held the majority of shares for Kansas City Life since the early 1900s. Ms. Needham’s election marks five generations of Board leadership from Mr. Reynolds and his descendants. Ms. Needham is filling the vacant seat created when her mother retired from the Board of Directors.
