New feature debuts at NIGP Forum, booth 223, letting agencies auto-fill agency, solicitation, and custom details in every document
AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Beacon Bid today announced dynamic document variables for its content documents and templates, debuting at NIGP Forum, booth 223. The new feature lets agencies auto-fill agency, solicitation, and custom details directly into their documents instead of typing them by hand.
Agencies attending NIGP Forum can see the feature live at booth 223, or request a demo at beaconbid.com.
Templates That Fill Themselves In
Agencies can now insert variables directly into content documents and templates instead of typing information by hand. Each variable is inserted as a placeholder that automatically fills in the real value when the document is saved, viewed, or downloaded. “Every hour an agency spends manually filling in a template is an hour not spent on the actual strategic work. This feature was built to give that time back, automatically and accurately, every time,” said Stephen Hetzel, CEO and co-founder, Beacon Bid.
Uploading a document an agency has used before lets Beacon Bid auto-detect where to inject variables, turning a past document into a reusable template in minutes.
* Upload a document you’ve used before and Beacon Bid automatically injects the dynamic variables for that solicitation type.
* Choose from more than 20 built-in fields across system, agency, and solicitation data, or add custom fields, such as an award amount, that can be marked required with fallback text like “TBD.”
* Brand every document with an agency’s own seal or logo, sized small, medium, large, or to a custom size, alongside text case, date shifting for calculated deadlines, and currency or number formatting for every other variable type.
* Decide whether a variable’s value locks in at the moment a document is saved or stays updated as the source information changes.
* Insert variables inline and toggle a live preview to see the document exactly as it will look with real values filled in before publishing.
Live at NIGP Forum, Booth 223
Beacon Bid’s team will demo dynamic document variables in person at NIGP Forum starting Sunday, August 23, 2026, alongside several other new tools built to make the sourcing process easier for the company’s local and state government customers.
“For our new customers joining each month, this is huge. Upload a document you’ve used before, and in under a minute you have a workable template ready for every future solicitation of that type. It’s one of several new tools we’re showcasing at NIGP Forum this year, all aimed at making the sourcing process easier for the agencies we work with. We’d love for anyone attending to stop by booth 223 and see it live,” said Kim Cullen Prather, Director of Marketing & Growth, at Beacon Bid.
